Scaredy Cats

Our cats were very scared and apprehensive of these toys. They have the flopping fish and absolutely love them, so we thought the snakes would be a hit. Their movement is very realistic, which I do think initially intrigued the cats. However, they are quite noisy and very unpredictable in their movement. The motion sensor feature is cool, and does work, however, the snakes tend to get trapped or stuck on rugs or behind furniture, making them hard to follow. Our cats are definitely scaredy cats, and other, more adventurous cats might enjoy these snakes more! The battery life seems decent and the motion sensors work as advertised. Just not a win for our household.

DONT buy one of these for your cat...........buy two.

youll need 2 of them since your cat(s) will either be playing with this constantly, or complaining that they cant play with it while its charging.

Pros: great engagement for the cat, durable construction (ours has been batted down the stairs a few times), and battery life is good.

Cons: wont move if it gets flipped over, object detection doesnt always work, and youll be cleaning hair out of the wheels/axles. That and you have to listen to your cat complain while its charging.

The snake needs a large space.

Cats lost interest in a short time. Snake went under a heavy piece of furniture.
It's a well made cat toy I think my cats are more into toys that are stationary

My cat is obsessed!

Test was fantastic for my cat… She follows it around everywhere… It does have a downside of getting stuck on my heating register, which is on the floor… And any rugs in my kitchen, and it does not go across my carpet very well, but my kitten absolutely loves it as a snakes across the hardwood of my kitchen and dining room!
